WASTE CARRIERS LICENCE
All waste producers have a legal duty to ensure that the waste is transported in safe and suitable vehicles and that the waste is transferred on to an authorised person.  It is an offence to transfer waste to an unlicenced carrier for transportation.  We have been a licenced waste carrier and broker for many years and are able to offer reliable and professional advise regarding the movement of wastes.  To download a copy of our waste carriers licence click here.

ENVIRONMENTAL PERMIT (FORMERLY WASTE MANAGEMENT LICENCE)
We own and operate a fully licenced materials recycling centre near Oakham in Rutland which is regulated by the Environment Agency.  Here we process our skip waste and recyclable construction waste to significantly reduce the volume of wastes taken to landfill.  Recyclable wastes such as hardcore and soils are processed at the facility for reuse.  Wastes such as cardboard/paper, wood, metal, certain plastics, greenwaste and plasterboard are seperated and sent for specialist processing.  To download a copy of the front page of our waste management licence click here.

MACHINE CERTIFICATES
All our excavators are hired out with a current 'certificate of thorough examination' as required by the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER).  This ensures that the equipment provided is strong and safe for the particular use and marked to indicate safe working loads.  To select and download an excavators certificate click here (Sorry this facility is not available for download at the present time.  Please contact the hire desk on 01664 822797 for  details).
